Please Be Mindful

Vortex runs a fast-paced, creativity-focused ART camp designed for the child or tween who truly loves making things. We spend about 75% of our day creating fun, unique art projects, exploring mixed media, and diving into hands-on activities. We don’t schedule a lot of “free play,” and we don’t go outside very often, as most of our campers prefer to stay indoors creating art.

We do have lots of fun toys and games available during breaks and free play moments, giving kids a chance to relax, reset, and connect with others between projects.

Please keep this in mind when registering your child to ensure our art-centered program is the right fit.
We can’t wait to see what everyone creates! 🎨✨

Things to note:

Note – We don’t have an exact lesson plan to share for each day yet as it will strongly depend on the students that sign up, age range and preferences they have for projects. Our courses are fluid and as we are such a small community Stella knows most of her students and does programming based on them.
**Please make sure to dress in messy clothing as paint gets everywhere!
