Event information
We are happy to welcome all ages 5+ – adult
To book a private event at Vortex Studio we have a minimum of 5 people or $200.
At this time we can host a maximum of 18 participants in our space. Please confirm this at the time of booking as Covid 19 restrictions change all the time.
When booking an event we require a non refundable $75 deposit to hold your events date and time. This deposit will be kept by vortex if the event is canceled or rescheduled within 3 weeks of the event. As long as the event runs on original date we will put the deposit towards the total cost of the event.
upon confirmation Vortex will send you an invoice to be paid via EMT, Cash or Cheque
Prices range depending on the project from $38 -$55 per person per project please email us an idea of what you would like to do, and age of the party group or a description of the group you have an we can help you choose something. At this time we don’t have a list of workshops because of covid our supply chain for supplies is more limited.
Each workshop is 2 hours. We can add additional time for a fee.
Children’s events
For children parties we require all participants to be ABOVE 5 years old for insurance purposes.
Children that are dropped off at the party must have a parent/ guardian sign a liability form before leaving them at Vortex Studio. This will be emailed to you when you book the party we require you to send it to party families or have them sign it at the door. Without this we will have to ask them to leave.
We kindly ask at this time for children’s parties that only 2 adults maximum stay for the party due to limited space. (they will not be added into the participants numbers unless they would like to do the project)
Adult supervisors do not have to stay for parties if you would like to just drop them off we can talk about this when booking.
Childrens parties are 2 hours long unless you would like to add additional time for a fee of $100 per hour
Covid 19- We reserve the right to alter restrictions regarding party size and mask requirements as we continue to follow the government’s instructions regarding the pandemic.
Food and drink
*Food/Cake- You are welcome to bring food or cake to a party, However Vortex is not responsible/ liable for any of the food brought. We are a nut, tree nut free environment. If bringing food please also bring everything needed to consume it, such as cooler, plates, cups etc.. Vortex does not supply this. We are not able to heat or cool any food.
Live Music with Mathew Falvai
would you like to add something cool to the party? Mathew Falvai is available for booking for extra special all request live music during the event for just $125
