This is a true Mixed Media workshop! We are using a Photo (taken by you) or we could supply a winter landscape photo Paint, Pastels and its on a piece of round Birch Wood! This process is COOL talk about a different kind of art making!
Everyone will be guided step by step on how to remove the paper from the wood to expose the image and then embellish the image with paint and pastels. This is one step up in the unique catagory from “the painted photograph”
Please note vortex will be adhering the image to the wood prior to the class as it needs to sit for 24 hours so please send it to us well in advance.
Great subject matter would be- family photos, landscape, pets, travel, kids, or really anything ever! note try not to have small faces as sometimes they lift in the exposing process.
This class is great for all skill levels with an open mind and kids over 10
